    Sales Engineer, Chester, PA

    We are looking for an experienced, motivated, smart and overachieving Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling field erected welded steel storage tanks to Owners, General Contractors, and EPC firms in a variety of industries. Our Sales Engineers are responsible for generating technical proposals in response to RFPs and inquiries and developing the accurate and cost-effective estimates that contribute to our success in a competitive market.     Project Manager, Atascadero, CA

    We are looking for a motivated individual with a civil or mechanical engineering background to join our Atascadero, CA-based Project Management team. The Project Manager is the principal liaison between Fisher Tank Company and the customer throughout the project.Our project managers need to have the technical and visualization skills to assess engineering drawings and project information and plan project execution.     Our offices serve as home base for Safety, Quality, Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Sales and Business Development teams. They also house our Executive and Administrative Support teams.     Chester, PA: Sales Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Review customer technical specifications to perform preliminary design of tanks to API-650, AWWA D-100, NFPA-22 and other standards.
    • Work closely with customer to understand their need and develop best value solution.
    • Issue RFP's to Subcontractors to support the necessary work that is required. Review Subcontractor proposals and schedules to ensure accuracy and inclusion of all the requirements of the RFP.
    • Contact suppliers for cost information and possible value-added options.
    • Generate accurate labor and material cost estimates
    • Incorporate all requirements of the RFQ in to a well written clearly stated proposal including all technical/commercial clarifications and exceptions, work execution plans, schedule, and technical submittals.
    • Review commercial terms and conditions to Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
    • Work closely with internal team including construction, fabrication, quality control, and safety to ensure accuracy of the estimate, proposal and schedule.
    • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
    • Effective follow up and management of submitted proposals utilizing CRM system.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings.
    • Marketing of company at conferences

    Skills

    • Associate Degree in Engineering or related technical fields is preferred
    • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
    • Proven track record selling complex solutions
    • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with internal and external customers
    • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
    • Solid technical background with understanding of API-650, API-653, AWWA D-100, NFPA-22, and API-620.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
    • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM)
    • Willingness to travel

    Atascadero, CA: Project Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Project Managers select and coordinate subcontractors, manage scheduling, coordinate construction, and handle project administration.
    • Project Managers are responsible for ensuring Safety, Quality and Productivity on all Fisher projects.
    • Review customer technical specifications for tanks designed to API-650, AWWA D-100, NFPA-22 and other standards.
    • Cross reference project drawings with technical specifications for accuracy and inclusion.
    • Work closely with customer to understand their needs and develop the best options to build the work.
    • Review subcontractor proposals and schedules to ensure accuracy and inclusion of all the requirements of the contract.
    • Work up accurate change order requests as needed.
    • Understand commercial terms, conditions and specifications of each contract.
    • Work closely with internal team including construction, fabrication, quality control, and safety to ensure accuracy of the work installed and to remain on schedule.
    • Coordinate monthly billings with the Accounting Department and follow up on payments due.
    • Attend pre-job walks and pre-bid meetings.
    Skills
    • Project Managers must be self-directed and capable of managing multiple priorities and multiple customer relationships.
    • Project Managers must be able to work effectively with all personnel involved with our projects, including Sales, Engineering, Construction, Drawing Control, Quality Assurance, and Safety.
