Fisher Tank Gears Up for Anticipated Boom in Ethanol Storage Tank Construction

With the demand for Ethanol expected to exceed 3 billion gallons by mid-2004 and surpass 4 billion by 2007, the demand for appropriate storage facilities is expected to show commensurate growth. Fisher Tank, one of the nation’s premiere builders of aboveground storage tanks, has positioned itself to meet that demand.

As Congress continues to work out details of a new Energy Bill requiring the use of ethanol as a fuel additive, Fisher Tank addressed the ethanol industry with the following ad in the 2004 Membership Directory of the American Coalition for Ethanol.

The Ridge Administration honored PA's 100 Best Places to Work in an awards ceremony held in Harrisburg, PA. The award, modeled after Fortune's "100 Best Places to Work", was created by Gov. Ridge and the Team Pennsylvania Board, and is the first of its kind offered by a state. The "100 Best Places to Work in PA" program is made up of 50 medium-sized companies (50 to 250 employees) and 50 large-sized companies (251+ employees). A survey is sent to the employers and employees and the data is used to rank the participating companies to determine the top companies. 75% of the decision is based on the anonymous responses from employees and 25% is based on the submission by the employer.

Kuntz Lesher LLP, a Pennsylvania firm, scored the employer survey. To be eligible, the companies must be a for-profit business; must be a publicly or privately held business; must have a facility in Pennsylvania; and must be in good standing with the Commonwealth's Attorney General and Department of Revenue.
